Katrina “Kay” Brinkopf, DNP, ARNP, PMHNP-BC

Kay Brinkopf, PMHNP, received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice, PMHNP Specialization, from Pacific Lutheran University – Tacoma. She began her career as a Senior Airman, Medic, in the United States Air Force before moving to Tacoma General Hospital, where she served as a nurse tech and later registered nurse assisting in the acute care setting. 

Later, she expanded her role as a psychiatric mental health provider for a multi-site organization offering services related to the care of substance use treatment, primary care, and behavioral/mental health in an outpatient setting. She also serves as PMHNP of a growing independent outpatient psychiatric mental health practice offering complete psychiatric care, including psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and 1:1 or group therapy across the lifespan.
