More about Alice Park, MD

She has always enjoyed helping people, beginning at a very young age. Growing up in China, Dr. Park also knew there was a need for psychiatrists there. She obtained her medical degree and, following a one-year internship, she completed her psychiatry residency and began to treat patients. She found her calling and never looked back. The science of medicine and the art of psychiatry has always been a part of her career. It has been fascinating and rewarding to her to see how much her patient’s lives improve under treatments and her care.

Dr. Park always shows her patients great empathy, recognizing their suffering and respecting that they have chosen to pursue treatment and begin the process of healing and feeling better. She appreciates self-advocacy, when a patient is able to collaborate in their treatment plan and communicate their needs throughout the process. She encourages them through their treatment plan that she builds with their input and participation.

Having worked with medication management, Dr. Park is excited to offer treatments including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine nasal spray, that can help people who have not benefited from medications and may be considered treatment-resistant.
