Christine enjoys making multi-media art and even participating in her hometown’s annual art car parade. She loves discovering new restaurants, exhibits, and local performers. Volunteerism is very important to her, so she is regularly at the local cat café or helping out at a food rescue and recovery organization. She is an outspoken advocate for harm reduction and responsible drug policy reform, social and animal welfare, exposure to new ideas, and sustainable living. And when she needs a real break, she supports Houston’s women’s soccer team, the Dash.

More about Christine Farley, PMHNP
Christine Farley is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). She specializes in trauma-related disorders such as PTSD and cPTSD. She is also invested in serving patients inside of the HIV+, LGBTQIA+, and SGM communities throughout her practice. Seeing mental health care improve someone’s lifestyle is what cemented her desire to work in psychiatry and make a real difference with her patients.
What is most important to her is the idea of autonomy, consent, and evidence-based treatments. She joined Mindful Health Solutions in order to work somewhere that prioritized patient-first care. She also believes that alternative treatments, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy, are an excellent way to give hope to patients who are struggling and have been for a long time. To Christine Farley, hope is the most therapeutic thing that she can provide to her patients overall.
