More about Erin McManus, PMHNP

Erin McManus is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a focus on depression, anxiety, and OCD. She has experience with many other mental health diagnoses, but she finds that treating depression, anxiety, and OCD is what she is most passionate about. She loves to set short and long-term goals with her patients. She prefers to work as a team with my patients and their support systems.

As a nurse practitioner, she has experience in pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatient services. She can help each patient of hers by using her years of experience as an RN and ARNP in mental health. As she works, she would describe her style as a team dynamic with her patients and their support systems.

Erin McManus is also able to work with patients that have alternative treatment plans, such as working with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine treatments. Having these options ensures that each patient can get the care that works best for them as an individual. She has experience treating patients with TMS and esketamine and has truly seen it change lives. Erin loves having more tools and techniques available to help patients when medications have not been the solution.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Erin loves to be with family and friends. She has two dogs that she adores and loves. She also enjoys painting and restoring old homes.

Education & Experience

Erin first attended the University of Portland for her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She later attended the University of Washington, where she completed her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in Nursing Practice.

After graduating from UW, she went on to work in a community health pediatric inpatient facility for a year. After this she worked in community mental health outpatient pediatrics to age 21 for about two years. She then worked outpatient pediatric and adults, and later learned to evaluate and treat with TMS and esketamine.
