Outside of work, Jasmine enjoys hiking, crafts, and baking. She found her passion for baking in recent years, which she describes as her own version of simple gratification when something comes out perfect. When hiking, she enjoys going to the North Georgia mountains.

More about Jasmine Kincaid, LPC
Jasmine Kincaid is a Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, joining Mindful Health Solutions as a Psychotherapist. She specializes in working with teenagers and addressing adjustment, Depression, Anxiety, and Mood disorders with them. She approaches her style of therapy as a caring, warm conversation and activities to break up the conversation so that patients can grow in a different (and more creative) way. She is person-centered and strengths-based in her approach to therapy. She strives to be right beside each individual on their journey to increased mindfulness and growth. She utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based counseling, and attachment theories in a relatable and more digestible context.
As a Psychotherapist, she believes that therapy is something that people need alongside whatever treatments they’re currently doing or starting to receive for their conditions. In her eyes, a collaborative approach to mental health when needed is the best way to go about treatment, because no one should settle with “almost” feeling better. In her experience, she learned “cold-turkey” medication use is not best for everyone, and alternative treatments like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and esketamine treatments, alongside therapy, provide the best results when working as a combination of treatment methods.
To Jasmine Kincaid, the ideal patient would be willing to build a therapeutic alliance to develop new skills and insights into their life, because they are the experts. Willing to grow and implement change not only for our one-hour session but in day-to-day life where change matters. She hopes to work on a one-on-one basis with each patient, and ensure they have the tools they need, and that work best for them as an individual.
