Being physically active is very important to her outside of work, and that is how she is able to relax and recharge—walking, hiking, running, Orange Theory Fitness, yoga, and kayaking when she has the opportunity. She also likes to spend time with friends, read, write, make jewelry, shop, and bake. She has also been vegan for about 9 years, and so all her baked goods are vegan. So following a plant-based diet, keeping up-to-date in the world of plant-based nutrition, and animal welfare are passions of hers.

More about Jessica Langenhan, MD
Dr. Jessica Langenhan is a Psychiatrist with a specialization in OCD, adult ADHD, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She has a particular interest in the roles of nutrition, exercise, yoga/meditation, and complementary medicine in mental health and overall wellness within her treatments and treatment plans.
As a Psychiatrist, she firmly believes in giving patients options, providing the pros/cons of each option, so that they can take part in the decision-making process regarding their treatment plans. In her eyes, patients need to feel engaged and involved in the planned treatment in order for it to be as effective as possible. The treatment is for each patient, not for her; she sees her role as to advise and support in the treatment options they are willing and able to engage in. Her aim with this approach and overall is to create an environment where the patient can feel free to discuss anything, and not to feel that things need to be edited or sugar-coated.
After working in this field for over a decade, Dr. Jessica Langenhan joins Mindful Health Solutions because she appreciates the opportunity to offer more cutting-edge treatment options to patients. In her opinion, medical providers should have the mindset of always learning and staying on top of the most up-to-date treatments, and she wants to be in an environment that not only supports but fosters that learning and those treatment options. Medicine alternative such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and esketamine allow for patients who feel have “tried everything” to have options, and be able to find a treatment plan that works for them and their needs.
