“Depression can be debilitating. Some of our patients have tried to find relief for years with trials of medications or psychotherapy, none of which have allayed their suffering.
We recognize that there is no “one size fits all” for those who need help. We’ve committed our practice to help find each patient the best possible opportunity for relief from their depression and finding their way back to a daily enjoyment of life. We work with patients on comprehensive, compassionate treatment plans, which may include interventional treatments such as esketamine, along with the appropriate antidepressant and other steps to help you get back to a normal routine. We hope you’ll take some time to explore our treatment options and meet our clinicians who are here to find the best solution for you..”
–Jennifer Guo, MD, PhD, Psychiatrist
According to the National Institute on Mental Health, Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) is one of the most common mental health disorders in the US. For many people, treatments such as therapy, antidepressants and lifestyle changes may relieve the symptoms. However, up to one-third may have treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and continue to experience symptoms such as persistant feelings of sadness, sleep disturbances, and low energy. These people will need an alternate form of treatment.
SPRAVATO™ is only available at Risk Evalution and Mitigation Strategy (REMS) certified facilities. Mindful Health Solutions is REMS certified. The medical staff have been trained to prescribe, dispendse and administer SPRAVATO™ and have established processes and procedures in accordance with the REMS.
We have been focused on treating TRD since we were founded in 2007 and providing the most innovative patient-centric care to give our patients the best chance for recovery.
Our staff will gather information on your symptoms and background, as well as any treatments you have attempted. They will answer any questions you may have and, if you are interested, discuss how the treatment works and schedule an appointment for you at the most convenient location for you that is REMS certified.

Mindful Health Solutions has been at the cutting edge of helping patients suffering from Treatment-Resistant Depression who are unable to find relief with medication and psychotherapy alone. FDA-approved, prescription nasal spray esketamine may help and is only available at select, certified treatment clinics.
Esketamine nasal spray is a different kind of medication taken with an oral antidepressant for adults with treatment-resistant depression. If you’ve struggled with depression and tried two or more antidepressants in your current episode without adequate relief, you may be approved for esketamine treatments.
Esketamine is the first FDA approved medication for depression to work on the glutamate system in additon to other systems. Esketamine is thought to lead to growth through the creation of new connections in the brain.
Esketamine is an office-based procedure. No anesthesia is required. Patients will self-administer the medication under the supervision of a healthcare provider and in a setting designed for comfortable, safe administration of the medication. During and after each treatment, the patient will be monitored for two hours by medical staff. Patients should arrange for post-treatment transportation home. A typical course of treatment consists of twelve sessions over two months, plus with a maintenance frequency of additional treatments based on patient needs.
