More about Adrienne Marks
Adrienne Marks has always loved talking with people one-on-one and hearing their stories. Starting her nursing career in cardiology, she found herself taking the time to listen to patient’s fears and worries. In these moments, she saw how vital mental health was in conjunction with physical health. She eventually went back to school to pursue her passion in mental health and completed her Master of Science with a focus on Psychiatric Mental Health.
In working with patients, she wants to make sure her patients feel comfortable and safe when meeting with her and as she works with them on their treatment plan. She believes in a team approach with her clients, in that they can work together to find solutions to any challenges they may face. She appreciates an openness to the healing process, which can come in many different forms but ultimately, just being present is a big step.
She sees both Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Esketamine Nasal Spray as showing promising results for individuals not responsive to traditional treatment options and providing a new lifeline for some. Using innovative treatments for those with more severe cases and with treatment-resistant depression is something that practitioners with Mindful Health Solutions like Adrienne strive towards. They know that mental health isn’t a one size fits all mentality when it comes to treatment plans.
As a clinician, it brings her hope that she can help patients who have been possibly struggling for a long time with treatments and therapies such as these.
Adrienne Marks joined Mindful Health Solutions in the Fall of 2021.
