Angela Yuen, MD
Dr. Angela Yuen is a Sacramento psychiatrist who specializes in depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. She appreciates the idea of patients having not only access to medication management and psychotherapy but also the latest interventional psychiatric treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and esketamine nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression.

More about Angela Yuen
Dr. Angela Yuen has always been interested in the human brain and what makes people feel, think, and behave the way they do. During her undergraduate years, she majored in neurobiology with a focus on mind, brain, and behavior. She applied to medical school with strong intentions toward a path to psychiatry.
Dr. Yuen feels privileged to have a career where she can make a difference in people’s lives. She hopes her patients approach their treatment journey with an open mind and appreciate that medications are often just one part of a multifaceted treatment plan.
Dr. Yuen sees SPRAVATO (Esketamine) and TMS therapy in Sacramento as great options for patients to consider when medication management and therapy alone do not provide adequate relief for depression. Patient testimonials speak to the efficacy of these interventional approaches, and she is excited to see how these treatments evolve and develop over time as accessibility to these modalities improves.
Personal Interests
Dr. Yuen loves living in Sacramento. For her, it has everything that she would want in a city without the downsides that tend to come with bigger metropolitan areas such as high parking and housing costs and gridlock traffic. Much of her free time is spent playing with her three cats, baking cookies and bread, trying new restaurants, or traveling. She has a personal passion for food, animals, and experiencing new things.
