Fidelis adopts an interactive and collaborative working style. He focuses on meeting his patients where they are and striving to meet their individual needs, all while treating them with dignity and respect.
As an avid lifelong learner, Fidelis is excited for the opportunity Mindful Health Solutions provides to learn and utilize new treatment options for patients with treatment-resistant depression and other mood disorders. He is particularly looking forward to being able to treat patients utilizing our interventional psychiatry treatments, such as SPRAVATO (esketamine).
To his potential patients, or anyone seeking mental health support for the first time, Fidelis encourages, “Help is available. I am here to provide an enabling environment. At all times, I am open to listening to patients’ symptoms, and collaboratively, we can endeavor to find solutions to the mental health issues they’re experiencing.”
Personal Interests
As a current resident of the Sacramento region, Fidelis enjoys its central location, close to trails, parks, rivers, and winter activities. Outside of providing care, you may find him enjoying a long walk, playing tennis, or gardening.
Education & Experience
Fidelis first entered the mental health field as a registered nurse. In his practice as an RN, he realized mental health care provided the most opportunity to both learn new things and to make an impact in the lives of patients. So, Fidelis decided to pursue mental health care and gain more education by attending National University in Costa Mesa, California. There, he received his Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Certificate in July 2019.
After becoming board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner, Fidelis worked in a community service organization providing mental health services for patients throughout the lifespan. He later went back to school to get a doctorate degree in health sciences at the University of the Pacific in Sacramento, California.
