More about Syeda Kabir
Dr. Kabir is a psychiatrist in El Dorado Hills with expertise in the assessment and diagnosis of a wide range of mental health conditions, with a particular focus on anxiety and depression. Her approach is rooted in evidence-based care, combining psychopharmacology, therapy, and innovative treatments to help patients achieve their goals, while prioritizing accurate diagnoses to ensure they receive the most appropriate treatment.
She was inspired to join the mental health field in part due to her lifelong fascination with human psychology. During her medical school journey, that fascination expanded into the complexity of the human brain and the relationship between biology, environment, and behavior. Pursuing psychiatry allowed her to combine her interests in understanding the human mind and behavior while making a meaningful impact on others’ lives – an incredibly fulfilling journey.
She enjoys working with patients who are motivated to make positive changes, open to self-reflection, and willing to collaborate with their healthcare provider in order to overcome challenges and build a fulfilling life. At all times, she seeks to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. This patient-centered approach emphasizes building trust, fostering open communication, and delivering compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique needs.
Dr. Kabir was inspired to join Mindful Health Solutions because of the company’s commitment to innovation, including the use of ketamine therapy and TMS therapy in El Dorado Hills, which aligns with her passion for being at the frontier of exploring effective, cutting-edge treatments for mental health. She is excited for the opportunity to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care alongside a talented team of physicians.
To anyone seeking mental health support, she says, “I want you to know that you are not alone, and your feelings are valid. As your doctor, my goal is to listen, support, and provide care tailored to your needs. Taking the first step of reaching out for help is often the hardest, but it can also be the most empowering.”
