Howard Ilivicky, MD, Joins Mindful Health Solutions

Dr. Ilivicky Brings Decades of TMS Expertise to His Practice

Seattle, Washington (July 10, 2025) – Mindful Health Solutions is proud to announce Howard Ilivicky, MD, as our new Washington Medical Director, based out of our Seattle clinic. Dr. Ilivicky brings more than 30 years of experience treating children and adults struggling with mood and anxiety disorders, as well as extensive expertise in the use of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, or TMS, for depression.

His extensive experience in interventional psychiatry and his dedication to delivering exceptional patient care make him a perfect fit for Mindful Health Solutions,” says Meghan Herwehe, CEO. In fact, Dr. Ilivicky is a pioneer in TMS therapy, having contributed to its initial research in the late 1990s at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before founding his own TMS practice in St. Louis. He was also involved in the pivotal trials leading to the FDA approval of esketamine nasal spray for depression. 

Prior roles include multiple psychiatric residencies and Chief Resident at Duke University’s Medical Center, associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, attending psychiatrist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Philadelphia, and Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in more than 250 clinical pharmaceutical drug trials.
