More about Bobbi Porche, MD

Dr. Porche discovered her passion for psychiatry during medical school. While working rotations in a general hospital, she found herself more focused on the mental health of patients who were admitted. Her broad experience as a Houston psychiatrist covers treating depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and PTSD, mostly in adults of all ages.

At Mindful Health Solutions, works together with patients to find the best treatment plan for the patient. She also enjoys educating patients who may be new to medication treatment and have reservations about it.

“Every patient has a unique story, and it’s incredibly meaningful to be trusted to walk alongside them in that journey,” she states, adding, “In our local community, I love seeing the resilience and strength of patients and families. There is something very special about being able to provide care in the same place where I grew up and am currently living with my family, because it allows me to give back and stay connected to that community in a deeper way.”

As Regional Medical Director, Dr. Porche is eager to support not only individual patients, but also the clinicians who care for them, creating an environment where everyone feels empowered and mental health care remains accessible, compassionate, and centered on the dignity of every person.

“I value working and learning from others so that I can help make the Texas region strong. I’m excited about building bridges between clinicians, staff, and the broader community so that mental health care feels less like a system and more like a partnership,” Dr. Porche concludes. “Ultimately, I’m looking forward to helping shape a culture where both patients and providers feel supported, valued, and hopeful about the future.”
