More about Inna Dadashyan, PMHNP

As a PMHNP, Inna provides specialized care for patients struggling with a wide variety of mental health challenges. However, her main interest in psychiatry lies in supporting individuals living with depression, particularly those experiencing treatment-resistant depression. Drawn to the complexity and challenges involved in managing this condition, Inna is committed to exploring evidence-based and innovative approaches to care that suits each individual. In her work with patients, she emphasizes an active, empathetic, and attentive style. She prioritizes deep listening and builds trust with her patients to create a therapeutic alliance that supports patients’ long-term recovery and resilience.

Inna’s journey toward becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner began while she was working as a family nurse practitioner, with a special focus in gynecology. Inna had the privilege of caring for women from all walks of life, and many were navigating deeply challenging and emotional experiences. It was there that she witnessed firsthand the psychological toll that events such as trauma, sexual abuse, and abortion could take on women’s well-being. As she continued administering care, it became increasingly clear to Inna that while her clinic was thoroughly addressing women’s physical health needs, mental health was often overlooked or underprioritized. The emotional pain and psychological struggles many of these women carried went unspoken and untreated. Inna realized that comprehensive care must include mental health support as a central component. This realization inspired her to return to school and pursue a degree as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Now, Inna’s goal is to bridge the gap between physical and mental health care—providing compassionate, holistic treatment that supports the whole person. She is committed to being an advocate and a resource for those in need.

Inna’s inspiration for joining Mindful Health Solutions stems from a deep interest in interventional psychiatry and its transformative potential for individuals living with conditions such as depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. She has seen firsthand how many patients struggle to find relief through traditional treatments like medication and talk therapy. For patients who do not respond adequately to these traditional methods, interventional approaches can offer a new path forward—one grounded in innovation, evidence-based care, and real hope. Mindful Health Solutions’ commitment to cutting-edge treatments like TMS, esketamine, and other interventional modalities aligns with her belief that mental health care should be both compassionate and forward-thinking. Inna is grateful for the opportunity to be part of a team that is expanding access to effective, personalized care and helping patients rediscover overall health and wellness.

Personal Interests

Outside of work, Inna enjoys spending quality time with family. Traveling is one of her biggest passions, so much so that she visits a new country every year! Inna appreciates exploring different cultures, traditions, and especially local cuisine. For Inna, discovering a place through its cuisine is one of the most exciting parts of travel.

She also cherishes the time she spends with her children. Watching them grow and learning alongside them brings her a deep sense of joy and fulfillment. Whether it’s a simple day at the park or a family trip abroad, being with her loved ones is what Inna values most.

Education & Experience

After graduating from West Coast University in 2016 with her Bachelors, Inna became a registered nurse and gained valuable experience performing thorough assessments of patients’ physical and mental condition. Her attention to patients’ overall well-being followed her in all her endeavors. She soon completed her Master of Science in Nursing from the Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science, and she became a certified Nurse Practitioner. Following this, Inna was a women’s health care provider, where she was inspired to complete her Post-Master’s Degree that conferred her PMHNP credentials. Having administered care to a vast variety of patients seeking physical and mental health care, Inna is looking forward to making a greater impact on the Mindful Health Solutions team.
