Dr. Lanocha has lectured widely about TMS, taught professional seminars, provided hands-on training to clinicians, and coauthored several pioneering papers on the therapy’s clinical application and long-term benefits.
Following his interest in the humanities and medicine, Dr. Lanocha pursued a career in psychiatry as a way to connect with patients, develop a deep understanding of their stories, and find the most advanced, evidence-based therapies to relieve symptoms and achieve wellness.
Seeking assistance for a mental health condition can be a difficult step, and Dr. Lanocha believes it’s critical that each patient feel understood and supported in their journey to wellness. He strives to understand each person’s specific symptoms, circumstances, and body chemistry, including possible contributing factors such as sleep apnea. He develops a holistic treatment plan tailored to each patient’s needs, incorporating a broad range of evidence-based treatments including TMS, mindfulness-based techniques, and sleep therapies. When the fog of depression begins to lift, he works with the patient to correct distorted thinking and help them reconnect to their resilience, joy, and sense of purpose.
