More about Leonard Marinis, MD

Dr. Leonard Marinis is a board-certified psychiatrist from the California area. He graduated from Case Western Reserve University’s School of Medicine with his doctorate before completing his psychiatry residency training at the University of California. He specializes in the depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia.

As a psychiatrist, Dr. Marinis has a patient-centric approach. He believes that understanding people’s emotional experiences and life challenges from their perspective allows him to give each individual the treatment plan that works best for them. When working with this kind of approach, having alternatives is key. Mindful Health Solutions provides alternative treatments, such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy and esketamine, as options for those who aren’t responding to medication alone.

Dr. Leonard Marinis prides himself on finding what treatment plan will work best to fit each patient’s needs, lifestyle, and preferences. He believes that provider-patient collaboration leads to even more positive results.
